The Mental Health Boys brings families, leaders, and everyday people together to talk openly about mental health. Based in Newport News, Virginia, our work is grounded in professional experience and lived reality.
We believe mental health conversations should feel human—not clinical, intimidating, or out of reach. Everything we do is centered on connection, trust, and real-world support.
What we talk about
We focus on the conversations people are already having—or avoiding—at home, at work, and in their relationships.
Why it matters
Healthy individuals build healthy families. Healthy families build strong communities.
By normalizing difficult conversations and connecting people to real resources, we help create lasting change—one conversation at a time, locally and beyond.
This work isn’t about quick fixes. It’s about building understanding, resilience, and support where it’s needed most.
